Delta passengers fall ill after sitting on delayed plane in extreme heat

For nearly three hours on Monday, Delta passengers on Flight 555 sat in extreme heat waiting for their plane to take off. Some passengers became seriously ill — vomiting and passing out.

Multiple passengers and at least one crew member were seen by first responders.
