We're not sure where animal rights activists stand on pets owning their own pets. But commentator Daniel Pinkwater sees only good in such a relationship.
Pinkwater tells how one of his dogs taught the other one to play a game avoiding a skunk's stench. Lulu, the older dog, actually considers the younger one, Maxine, to be her own pet. So she's doing her best to pass along some hard-won knowledge.
