Edmond Mobile Meals presents the 6th annual EdFest on Friday, October 12th in downtown Edmond at the Festival Market Place, 26 W. 1st Street. The family-friendly activities will kick off at 6pm and last until 10pm. EdFest is the biggest fundraising event of the year for Edmond Mobile Meals. EdFest attendees can look forward to delicious local food trucks, local breweries, a silent auction with items and services from local businesses, a Kidzone and live music from local band “Souled Out” courtesy of Main Stage Sponsor, John Vance Auto Group/Vance Family Trust. Entry is free. Food trucks in attendance will include: Amore’ OKC, Let’s Do Greek, Yum Pig, The Mighty Corndog, Wicket Hangry, The Yeti Shack and Fluff & Stuff. EdFest 2018 will have fun activities for kids of all ages with inflatables, face painting with Silly Lily, temporary tattoos, carnival games, character photos and more. Wrist bands for all access to the Kidzone can be purchased for a donation of $5 each. Families can also take photos in the Photo Bus for a $5 donation and receive a printout to keep! All proceeds of this event support the Edmond Mobile Meals mission to provide hot nourishing meals and daily wellness checks to the homebound elderly and disabled persons in the community. In 2016 Edmond Mobile Meals delivered nearly 51,000 meals to the homebound in Edmond and the EdFest event raised enough funds to cover the cost of 7,000 of those meals.
